從 BCTC 到 ECTC
新澤西州 ECTC（恩城基督徒證主教會） 的聚會，起初從一個在 BCTC（貝郡基督徒證主教會） 的年輕人團契開始的。六年前， 因著看見靠近曼哈頓地區有許多年輕人渴慕福音、需要靈裡的建造， 神將植堂的負擔放在我們心中，也感動 BCTC 及其他地區的教會與弟兄姊妹同心支持。在神的恩典與供應下， 我們購得位於恩城（Englewood）的禮拜堂，並正式展開聚會。 這六年的歷程，真實地見證了神起初的感動與帶領。
從 ECTC 到 RCTC
聚會初期約有 60 至 70 人同心敬拜。神施恩， 不斷將得救的人加添給祂的教會，聚會人數穩定成長， 原本寬敞的禮拜堂也變得擁擠，服事上出現諸多不便。在多方禱告後， 我們自 2024 年 2 月起開始分為上午與下午兩堂聚會， 藉此訓練更多同工，預備未來再次植堂的契機。分堂聚會以來， 我們更加清楚地見證到許多弟兄姊妹和福音朋友的生命與家庭被改變， 也看見弟兄姊妹在對神永恆旨意的認識上有長進， 並在基督的身體中被堅固建立。
就在我們沒有預料的時候， 神在2024 年 11 月讓我們得知有一座禮拜堂待售。 雖然該地點並非我們原先預期的區域，但主要負責的同工在看過後， 同感一靈地認定這是神的預備。在接下來短短兩週內， 神感動本地與外地的弟兄姊妹，無論在禱告中同心守望， 或在財務上慷慨奉獻，都成為神供應的管道。出乎我們所求所想， 神使我們得以全款購得這座新堂——如今的 RCTC（瑞城基督徒證主教會）。
以原本在 ECTC 早堂的弟兄姊妹為基礎，大約有 60 多位大人與 30 多位小孩從 ECTC 被差遣至 RCTC 參與植堂， 並於 2025 年 4 月 6 日展開新的聚會。
這段經歷再次提醒我們，事工的本質不是為了完成某件事， 而是藉著具體的順服與行動，在信心中學習跟隨神。更寶貴的是， 藉由許多遠近教會與弟兄姊妹的同心扶持， 我們深深體會到基督裡的合一是不受地域限制的， 也幫助我們拓寬對神國度的胸懷與使命。
願我們在跟隨主的道路上繼續學習，信心更加堅固。 願主的旨意成就在我們中間，榮耀歸於祂！
From BCTC to ECTC
ECTC (Englewood Christian Testimony Church) in New Jersey began as a young adult fellowship originally rooted in BCTC (Bergen Christian Testimony Church). Six years ago, seeing that many young people near the Manhattan area were hungry for the gospel and spiritual growth, God placed a burden on our hearts to plant a new church in Englewood. He also moved the hearts of our brothers and sisters in BCTC and other churches to support us in unity. By God’s grace and provision, we purchased a church building in Englewood and officially began our gatherings. Over the past six years, we have clearly witnessed that the vision God gave us from the beginning was indeed from Him.
From ECTC to RCTC
In the beginning, about 60 to 70 people gathered to worship together. By His grace, God continued to add saved souls to His church, and as the number steadily increased, the once spacious church building became crowded, leading to many inconveniences in our service. After much prayer, starting in February 2024, we began holding two services—one in the morning and one in the afternoon—to train more coworkers and prepare for another potential church plant in the future. Since then, we have clearly witnessed many gospel friends and families experience life transformation. We are also grateful to see our brothers and sisters grow in their understanding of God’s eternal will and be further built up in the Body of Christ.
Then unexpectedly, in November 2024, God led us to discover a church building that was up for sale. Although it wasn’t in the area we originally anticipated, the responsible coworkers, after visiting the location, unanimously sensed that this was God’s provision. Within just two weeks, God moved the hearts of brothers and sisters—both locally and from afar—to support us through prayer and generous financial offerings. In ways beyond what we could ask or imagine, God enabled us to purchase this new church building in full. This is now RCTC (Ridgewood Christian Testimony Church).
With the members of ECTC morning service as the core, about 60 to 70 adults and children were sent from ECTC to participate in the church planting of RCTC. Our new gatherings officially began on April 6, 2025.
This journey has reminded us once again that ministry is not about completing tasks for their own sake, but about learning to follow God through concrete acts of obedience and faith. More importantly, through the unified support of churches and brothers and sisters from near and far, we have deeply experienced that the unity in Christ transcends geographical and organizational boundaries and have been challenged to broaden our vision for the Kingdom of God.
